Gina Menza

Gina Menza has been practicing and teaching yoga for 30 years. As a New Yorker and mom of three, Gina’s uniqueness lies in teaching participants how to balance the frenetic and exquisitely fun energy with the rest and stillness necessary for one to thrive. Gina recognizes the importance of balancing the active side of one’s yoga practice and the quiet solitude that comes from a restorative yoga sequence.

When teaching yoga classes online, Gina focuses on creating a unique and rejuvenating experience by helping participants explore ways to support their practice at home by suggesting “props” to use, such as books, belts, bed pillows & couch cushions. This method helps create a necessary comfort that results in experiencing greater peace and bringing about much-needed mind, body, and breath balance.

Gina is the co creator of Anand Menza Restorative Trainings held worldwide for over a decade. She has also designed the prenatal material used in the 200 and 300-hour teacher trainings at several New York and international yoga schools (ISHTA Yoga, New York Yoga, Yoga Vida, Jai Yoga to name a few). Additionally, Gina has used the material for her school, Gina Menza Prenatal Yoga, an 85-hour Yoga Alliance registered training she teaches privately, one-on-one, and online.

Gina’s Finding Stillness Yoga retreats were re-launched this Summer in Mallorca, Spain.

“Finding pranayama, meditation, and final relaxation most profound in my yoga practice, I never skimp on the subtleties. The exploration of yoga’s precise sciences is fascinating and profound. Yoga will take you places you never knew you could reach, right within the confines of your own body!” -GM
